Full Curl Ranches

We created Full Curl Ranches to completely align our interests with those of our clients. We offer bespoke buy-side and sell-side services to a limited number of clients every year. If you want to ensure you receive the value you should from your broker, we’re here to offer you something better.

A unique model

We offer a unique fee-based compensation model and M&A-level due diligence to buyers, and best-in-class marketing and transaction support to sellers.  Combined, we’ve created the simplest way for you to ensure you have the best possible representation while avoiding the classic conflict of interest dynamics that challenge traditional brokerage relationships. Full Curl Ranches offers you the ability to protect your interests, maximize your value, and achieve your objectives.

What our name means

Like a Full Curl Ram, the best ranches embody nature reaching it’s full potential. Whether we’re talking big game, or we’re talking ranches, everything starts from the land – from the ground up.

We aim to be the very best ranch brokerage in the American West.

We prioritize quality, not quantity. We are about achieving highest & best use, in every deal.

  • For buyers, we help maximize their lifestyle and investment goals.
  • For sellers, we employ a rigorous onboarding process that enables us to fully align interests and to prepare assets to be properly marketed.
  • We operate in complete contrast to ranch brokerages who seek volume over value, who look to promote themselves over their listings, who keep you emotionally engaged in deals with just enough information to get you to close, who look to be quick to commissions and not long on consulting.

Our Values

  1. Integrity
  2. Authenticity
  3. Resiliency
  4. Transparency
  5. Precision
  6. Conservation

Our Vision

For buyers, we aim to be your investment advisor, not a sales person. For sellers, we provide the best possible chance of maximizing value.

For both, we take care of the details so you don’t have to. Not a stone is left unturned, and we highlight the bad, not just the good.

Our marketing recipe is tailored to each property: right people, right places.

Our Mission

By providing M&A-level due diligence, professional advisory, and best-in-class marketing, FCR provides an unparalleled ranch realty service to both buyers and sellers. We are across the details, and our financial incentives are aligned. As a result, you can enjoy the process of investing, or divesting, of your assets while protecting your legacy.

Our Leadership

Reese Lovell

Reese Lovell
Owner, Broker – Full Curl Ranches

Reese Lovell has often been told he doesn’t look like your typical ranch broker—and he’s fine with that. Because he’s not. While the industry leans on image, legacy, and the way it’s always been done, Reese built his career by asking better questions: Why? Is there a better way? He’s not in this for ego, volume, or commissions. He’s in it to serve, consult, and truly steward the land—and the people who own it.

Reese’s journey began between the Ozark Mountains and the banks of the Arkansas River, where his passion for the outdoors first took shape. That early love led to one of the youngest-ever wildlife biology internships with the U.S. Forest Service through Arkansas Tech University. But it was Colorado that captured his heart. A few family trips turned into a life calling, and in 2014, he made the move west.

Since then, Reese has become a trusted name in Western Colorado ranch real estate, known not for flash, but for follow-through. His reputation has been built on thinking outside of the box, work ethic, honesty, and a genuine commitment to doing right by his clients. While many brokerages chase scale, keep clients emotionally engaged just enough to get the deal done, or promote themselves over the listings they represent, Reese has taken the opposite approach. With Full Curl Ranches, he’s created a high-integrity firm that values people over transactions and legacy over leverage.

With a decade of experience and hundreds of millions in transactions, Reese brings both boots-on-the-ground know-how and big-picture strategy to every deal, from complex investment portfolios to once-in-a-lifetime legacy ranches. His clients often end up calling him their lifelong ranch advisor and friend. That’s because Reese doesn’t just look at dirt and deeded acres—he sees what the land means to people.

Reese and his wife, Alli, are living ranch life in Western Colorado. Together, they own and operate South Rim Ranch, a guest property and active investment holding, along with a growing portfolio of land across the region with his partnership with Everbranch Capitol Group. They’re deeply rooted in the ranching community outside Montrose, where they’re known for their integrity, humility, and a deep respect for the land. When they’re not working, you’ll find them exploring wild places with their dog, Watson. Faith is the center of everything they do. Reese and Alli serve in their local church and are active in global missions throughout Honduras, Africa, the Philippines, and the Amazon. Reese has also helped shape the industry from within—serving on the Future Leaders Committee of the National Realtors Land Institute, the board of the Colorado Chapter, and as an ambassador for the Land Broker Co-op. He’s a proud supporter of conservation groups like the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited.

At the end of the day, Reese doesn’t just sell ranches—he redefines how it’s done. He’s living proof that making others the priority has nothing to do with appearances and everything to do with putting others above yourself.

Here are all the reasons you shouldn’t hire Reese Lovell to represent your best interests in large property transactions: He wasn’t born and raised in the West. He doesn’t come from a multi-generational ranching family. He lacks an agricultural degree, and his father wasn’t an outfitter with a ready-made book of leads. Real estate wasn’t handed to him by family legacy, and his last name doesn’t open industry doors.

Reese didn’t inherit this career—he chose it. He didn’t stumble into it—he showed up. He wasn’t born into it—he sacrificed for it. He’s not the most qualified on paper, nor the most educated or experienced. But what sets Reese apart is exactly what disqualifies him in the eyes of convention: an unrelenting work ethic, a refusal to accept limitations, and a commitment to challenging the status quo. He doesn’t do things the easy way—he does them the right way.
